My Picture

Hello! My name is Irene Cobos Bautista, and I am the founder and guide behind this small, family-run project offering personalized tours in Tokyo and Yokohama. I’m originally from Spain, but Japan is now my home, and from here I work with dedication, warmth, and a personal touch so every visitor feels welcomed, almost like part of our family.

I grew up with a bilingual education, which now allows me to guide in both English and Spanish with ease. I hold a degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Seville, and I am also a published academic author (Tirant lo Blanch, 2025). Thanks to my background in East Asian history, culture, and society, I prepare each tour with accuracy, context, and a personal approach that turns every experience into something meaningful and authentic.

Living in Tokyo has allowed me to explore the city in depth, not only from an academic perspective but also through everyday life: quiet neighborhoods, historical corners, hidden cafés, and the city’s most surprising contrasts. I’m passionate about Japanese history, urban development, traditional and modern culture… and, above all, sharing all of this with people who come eager to discover it.

Being a tour guide isn’t just my profession, it’s something I truly enjoy! I love connecting with travelers from around the world, listening to their interests, and adapting each tour to their rhythm, creating a comfortable, relaxed, and friendly experience.

If you’re looking for a guided experience with a human touch, personalized attention, and genuine passion for Japan, I’ll be delighted to accompany you. Here, we don’t just offer tours: we offer experiences crafted with care, knowledge, and heart.
